Adiwan's nerdy dungeon

The shop listed a shipping date for my order for October 24th. I don’t believe them until my PC parts arrive.

Tried lookin’ fer stock on another site? If they do, demand a refund, since they can’t keep yer money fer goods they dun have when they’ll be able ta sell.

The problem is that the MSI GTX 970 is selling like hot cakes and thus many other shops have raised their prices or don’t have them anymore. If I bought the components now I’d pay over 70€ more. It’s crazy how the prices can change over over two weeks. Last week I was looking for another shop that had a reasonable price but the day after it was out of stock.

On the positive side: The shop says that the mainboard will be sent at the end of this week and they had only a minor delivery problem.

In the end it boils down to: Am I patient enough to save 50€ or not?

The last PC components that I need to upgrade my PC didn’t arrive.

I ordered a MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming G4 graphics card and a
MSI X99S SLI PLUS mainboard two weeks ago.

The shop says that due to a production and delivery shortage they didn’t got them. Every time I look at the shop’s website I see that they change the expected delivery date further into the future.

This makes me really angry because I have all the rest components and they are laying useless around.

Ugh, maybe you could splice something together? To fit the ports and male it playable?

The console works perfectly fine. I tested some PS1 games and there weren’t any read errors nor any other problem. The only thing that bugged me was a little plastic part that was loose inside of the console. I opened the case and removed it.

Today I found at the flea market:
Playstation 1 for 1€
I own a PS2 slim and I don’t really need a PS1 but I couldn’t resist buying a PS1 for 1€, even if it wouldn’t work. Because the sellers didn’t have any cables anymore I used the PS2 slim cables to test that. Luckily it does work.

It’s official now: My ask blog is filled with only pain and misery.

This week I found these games at the flea market:
Grand Theft Auto Vice City (PS2) for 1.50€
Ratchet & Clank 2 (PS2) for 3€
Dragon Ball Final Bout (PS1) for 3€
I almost bought “Street Fighter The Movie” the game for the PS1 but it was a little too expensive for me to buy just for the sake of having it. It’s not a bad game but definitely a strange one.

>mfw a few parts of my PC order are suddenly out of stock and they are available in a few weeks

>mfw online and local shops are out of stock too (or are expensive as hell)

I clicked on the buy button. The time is over waiting and looking for the best PC components for the lowest price. Now it’s the time for experiencing buyer’s remorse. Yay!
