I made myself pizza balls for the first time and it is a success.
I just took a random pizza dough recipe off the Internet and put a salami-cheese filling (with a bit of tomato sauce) into the balls. I’m not a cooking expert and I can say that everyone can do that too. It takes only some time to grow the dough and it is somewhat messy to make.
You lucky you. Over where I live it’s almost impossible to find any of the Silent Hill games, especially 2 which is extra rare for some reason.
I rarely see any Silent Hill games too but last week at the flea market I searched through a box full of games and the seller was fed up of carrying PS2 games to the flea market so he sold them for 2€ each. I couldn’t resist and buy any of them despite of their condition. Originally the seller wanted 8€ for its beat-up shape, which was definitely too much for me. Another guy heard my conversation and grabbed the best ones before I got to the other end of the box.
I don’t know why the silent hill games are so “rare”. I always thought that the are actually very popular. I think they share the same fate as the Mario games, popular but everyone keeps them for themselves.
Games I found at the flea market in the last two weeks:
- Jack 3 (PS2)
- Final Fantasy X (PS2)
- The Incredibles (PS2)
- Dog’s Life (PS2)
- Soul Reaver 2 (PS2)
- Beyond Good & Evil (PS2)
- Dead or Alive 2 (PS2)
- SNK vs Capcom. SVC Chaos (PS2)
- Twisted Metal: Black (PS2)
- Evil Twin (PS2)
- Silent Hill 2 (PS2)
- Breakdown (XBox)
I spent 2€ for each game.
My accomplishments today
I passed an oral exam (not very good grade but passed, I hate oral exams) and I repaired 6 original SNES controllers from a big heap of broken controllers. If I had some more rubber contact mats for the Start and Select button I had more repaired controllers. I intend to give a few away as a birthday present and to keep the rest for me or re-sell.
Who uses the start button anyway?
I bought a big box with broken original SNES controllers from ebay for a low price in order to repair as many as I can. Most of them can be easily fixed. I just need to get some extension cords and replace the broken original cables. Nothing special.
But the one on this picture is beyond repair. Before I opened the case there were many scratch marks around the start and select button, the rubber mat was gone, and the case had deformations from extensive heat at the back. I guess the previous owner used some weird methods to vent off their anger to this poor SNES controller.
I wanted to draw a new ask blog update in the last weeks but I didn’t have so much time. I hope I’ll get to it this weekend when I have a bit more time between exams.
This session my character was kidnapped so I need to roll a new character for the next time in order to retrieve him.
So basically I needed a lot of magic residuum to perform a make whole ritual to restore a powerful and evil ritual some evil guys performed. It would have give us some clues what evil they did. At the same time daemons were searching for us from another story.
I asked every party member to go shopping with me for the residuum but they had better things to do: eating, sleeping, bathing, trying to steal secrets from a foreign secret agency (for no apparent reason). I got fed up and went alone.
In the end I was mobbed by low level thieves (they were high level daemons in disguise), put in a box with a sack on my head, and was transported with an airship to another continent.
GREAT. FUCKING. SESSION. It derailed the whole plot.
